We can’t all be good all of the time – life would have a lot less sparkle and fizz if we were.

And besides which, calories don’t count on birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other special celebrations.

Or at weekends.

OK so we made that last bit up but we are great believers that a little of what you fancy does you good.  So if you want to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, wedding or other occasion by sinking your teeth into a gooey piece of chocolate cake then so be it.

Ingredients

We can’t promise that our lovingly handmade cakes are calorie free but we can guarantee that only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients go into each and every cake we bake.

We use free-range eggs, the finest Belgian chocolate, our own magical gluten-free flour blend and we source our produce locally wherever possible.

Free from cakes

If you have any special dietary requirements or food allergies then please let us know before placing an order – we will always try to accommodate your needs.  We can produce dairy-free, egg-free and vegan cakes on request, but please bear in mind that we may need more notice than usual if your requirement isn’t part our existing cake repertoire as we *never* produce a cake without extensively trialling it first!

We only use gluten-free ingredients in our cakes and we run an entirely gluten-free kitchen (The Happy Little Cake Company’s owner and baker has coeliac disease).

Unfortunately our kitchen is not a nut-free environment as we use them a lot in our baking and are a teensy bit obsessed with the peanut/chocolate/caramel combo.
