OUR DELIVERY CHARGES EXPLAINED
We understand that delivery costs are important when purchasing online and so we try to keep our charges to a minimum based on an analysis of the best options available in terms of speed of service, reliability and cost.
Our delivery charges are based on the weight of your order plus a small, fixed cost per order to cover packaging and administration costs. Most small orders are sent via Royal Mail.
We try as far as possible to dispatch your order within 48 hours of receipt. This means that most orders will be delivered 2-3 days after the date of dispatch.
If you need something from The Little Shop of Happiness in a hurry, then you can select the next day delivery option, provided you place your order by 11am. If, for any reason, we are not able to fulfil this turnaround time, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss alternatives or offer a full refund if the alternatives do not meet your requirements.
We use external carriers to deliver our products and so we cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery that are outside of our control. If we are unable to dispatch your order to meet the estimated timescales outlined above, we will make contact with you and offer you the option of a refund.
DELIVERY OF OUR LITTLE BOXES OF HAPPINESS
Our Little Boxes of Happiness are dispatched via Royal Mail first class signed for delivery. This is to ensure they reach the recipient as soon as possible after they leave our kitchen. The goodies should arrive within 1-2 days although Royal Mail does not guarantee these timescales and we cannot be held responsible for any delays on Royal Mail’s part.
Should the recipient fail to be in when Royal Mail attempt to deliver we cannot be held responsible for late delivery, nor can we be held responsible for the collection card being misplaced or lost by the recipient.
To ensure each and every Little Box of Happiness reaches its recipient in the best and freshest condition possible, we ask you to think carefully about your chosen delivery date to avoid missing the attempted delivery and the package being sent to the local Royal Mail depot for collection the following day onwards.
The cost of delivery of our Little Boxes of Happiness is included in the individual item price.
If your order from the Little Shop of Happiness includes other items in addition to a Little Box of Happiness, these will be dispatched separately and subject to our standard delivery charges.
